We also supply permanent sound installations. With sound, as with many technical items, if parts of the equipment are “cheap” we think the word “nasty” follows and the effect is all too obvious to the listener. This is why we only choose the best equipment from many different manufacturers. Because we have the equipment in our hire stock we know that, with the correct level settings, the sound quality will be superb. We would again need to do a site visit, which of course is free of charge, to properly assess your requirements.

DRAPES
We supply and fit curtains and curtain tracks temporary and fixed. The curtains we supply are made from flame-proofed materials and are of the highest quality. There are many choices of colour for velour ‘front of house’ curtains. We normally supply black wool serge for blackout curtains on stage, or for ‘theatre in the round’. Many other fabrics and colours are available.
We also service tracks. We find that one of the main problems in schools is that the wire on tracks is wound too furiously and is often stretched. Sometimes it gets kinked and, at that point, replacement of the wire is the only answer. These jobs are quite straightforward and inexpensive. Please contact Paul for your free site visit.

INSTALLATIONS
WE HAVE OVER 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OF INSTALLATIONS!
Now is the time to start planning for installations during the summer holidays as there are many variables with an installation and we often get supplies from many manufacturers. All site visits are free.
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
We can also visit you to service your equipment. This may be necessary to establish a fault and then decide upon the best course of action. Some faults can be rectified on site, however, some equipment may need to come back to our workshop for further investigation. It is difficult to give a scale of charges for service visits as there are so many variables. Please let us know with plenty of time before the show…………some people, believe it or not, leave it to the last minute to say there is a problem.

PAT TESTING
Did you know that under “The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989” All portable appliances must be electrically tested regularly, probably every year. This is any item with a cable and plug. Often we find that all of a venue’s domestic appliances have been tested but the stage lighting equipment has not. We can also clean the lanterns to give you more light!
